Do activities in science and math grab your attention and your imagination? It’s never too early to think about how your interests and hobbies today can lead to a career in science, technology, engineering or math. Right here in Guilford County, women work in those fields in a variety of companies, colleges and universities, in community programs such as the Greensboro Science Center, and in unique settings such as The Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering, a project of N.C. A&T State University and UNC Greensboro.

Here are some links to get you thinking about the possibilities. And if you’re 8 to 18, be sure to attend the Gateway to Science event at The Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering from 1 to 5 p.m. April 11, 2013. The school is located at 2907 E.
